The K&N 77-3104KP high-flow performance air intake system is a free-flowing air induction system designed to fit some Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon models. This K&N air intake system replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing on your vehicle. The 77-3104KP is designed to smooth and straighten air flow, and drastically reduce air flow restriction. A mandrel-bent intake tube with attractive chrome-like finish delivers air directly into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The dramatically improved air flow allows your engine to inhale a larger amount of air than it would from the stock air intake. More air means more usable power and acceleration throughout your engine's RPM range. A chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter is included with the 77-3104KP air intake. Depending on driving conditions, the oversized cone shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is needed. The intake tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hose and the heat shield installs into the previous air box space, making this air intake relatively easy to install. It usually takes 90 minutes or less and can be done in a single afternoon. Installation requires only a few common tools: a T27 torx, T20 torx, and 10mm wrench; 3mm and 4mm allen, a ratchet set, and a flat blade screwdriver. Some K&N 77 series air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal. Check the vehicle applications and specific CARB status for each vehicle and air intake.
